Why do I live in wonder? Why is my journey amazing?
I look to the small things that are overlooked for my
answers.
I look to the sky and I see the wonders of creation.
In the sunrise, I see a beginning of another day to live.
In the sunset, I see the end of a beautiful day,
In the darkness of night, I see a chance to rest.
I see the many gifts given to us as I look around.
In the clouds, the blessings of water,
In the trees, the gift of oxygen,
In the animals, the gift of balance,
In our food, the sustenance of life,
In life itself, there is creation.
In nature, I see the dust of the stars,
The magic of life’s building blocks,
The magic of a perfect living planet,
The healing of our bodies,
The oneness of all that is,
The closeness of our Divine Creator.
In humans I can see many gifts.
The eyes show our divine soul,
The ears that can hear our truth,
The lips that may speak our truth,
The arms that can comfort those in need,
And a heart that can give unconditional love.
